God Loves You St John 3:16
Vision & Challenge
The vision of Global Outreach Day is of every believer sharing the Gospel on the last Saturday of May every year.
Every believer is a witness!
Millions of Christians in over 140 nations are already sharing the Gospel. The goal is for every Christian to reach one person with the Gospel message.
93 % of church members never share the Gospel with others
"If we can figure out a way to turn an audience into an army - it will change the world." Rick Warren
The Global Outreach Day (G.O.D.) is a catalyst to mobilize the church for evangelism. This day of action is the first step to a life-style evangelism.
Prayer
The Global Outreach Day combines prayer with action. That is why we are connected with many prayer movements. Christians worldwide are trained to spread the Gospel.
Action
It's easy! Every Christian can be part of it. We are called to testify and everyone can share the Gospel in his own way. It just needs the willingness to go.
Develop your ideas! Here are some practical examples of how Christians are sharing the Gospel:
One on one - Inviting somebody over for a cup of coffee and telling him about Jesus, a nurse in a hospital, or a businessmen to another businessmen.
In small groups - reading out to the streets, in the market places, parks, etc
Care and share - Doing something good for the needy in hospitals, prisons, children homes, etc
Reach your area - Visiting home to home or strategic campaigns with other churches
More ideas - Concerts, open-air meetings, flash mob, banners, share tracts, post on Facebook, etc.
Maximise your potential to serve by attending our National bible school "Timothy School of Ministry" in partnership with the Mission School. Dedicated to equip those preparing for Missionary work at home and abroad
Our local evangelism team is responsible for engaging the church in sharing the good news to the community through outreach activities, follow-up of new converts, visiting those in prisons and missions program
Neighbourhood Pastors aim to serve our community by offering both spiritual and practical support to our neighbours whenever and wherever the need is identified.
A healthy church with a culture of evangelism is the key to great evangelism. Jesus did not forget the gospel when he built his church; in fact, a healthy church is meant to display the gospel. Think of the ways that the gathered church displays the gospel: we sing the gospel, we see the gospel in the sacraments, and we hear the gospel when we preach and pray. A healthy culture of evangelism does not aim at remaking the church for the sake of evangelism. Instead, we must highlight the way God designed the church to display and proclaim the gospel simply by being the church.
John 15:16 16You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you so that you might go and bear fruit-fruit that will last-and so that whatever you ask in my name the Father will give you.
Those precious words were spoken by Jesus and can be claimed by all who believe on him including you and me.
For those who are “Born again” undoubtedly a time of reflection on those words can only bring a sense of humility and gratitude that the God of all creation would consider those chosen by him for everlasting life. The very thought of this remain mind blowing and at time difficult to comprehend.
We are reminded by our own weaknesses that it is not because of the good things that we have done, but God who sees and read the hearts of men made a conscious decision to choose you to be in his presence forever.
The blessing of his choice for our salvation begins the moment we say yes to the belief and acceptance of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. His call to the world to flee from the wrath to come remains unchanged.
Jesus has chosen you for everlasting life, he invites you to turn from a life without him to a life that bear righteous fruit, so that the things you need to
that brings hope, joy, peace and love will be granted to you my God himself.
God has already chosen you for everlasting life, what will be your response to his invitation?
J. Lambert
Lord Jesus I acknowledge and believe that you died for my sins. I come in earnest prayer to ask your forgiveness for every wrong thought, deed and action. Please take control of my life and help me to become the person you created me to be, In Jesus name I pray amen
Congratulations on your decision to place your faith in Jesus Christ for salvation (John 3:16; Romans 10:9-10). The Christian life is a journey, but you can always be confident that God loves you and is with you each step of the way (Matthew 28:20). If you would like to talk to someone about the decision you just made, or if you have questions about receiving Jesus Christ as Savior.
